Wally and barnaby are sure some troubled teens. both boys are in highschool still, well barnaby failed a grade, I mean he shouldve been graduating this year but.... oh well! barnabys 17, with a pretty troubled life Im sure barnaby was a bad kid. he got into all kinds of drama, fights, bullying, etc. he was sure popular but not for any good reasons. he was mostly seen as a threat and was almost always on the verge of being expelled, the only reason he wasn't was because barnaby's mom was always making excuses for her son to stay. and even with barnabys own mom making excuses, barnaby was pretty lonely. wally was Barnabys friend, well only friend. the two lived on the same block and walked to and from School, yet wally was So much more tamed then barnaby. wally wasn't much of the friend barnaby saw wally as, I mean he was supportive, and kind, but at the cost of pity. wally knew barnaby was the troubled kid who definitely had some home life situation going on, I mean it seemed to affect every aspect of barnaby's life. though wally wasn't close enough to barnaby to be open enough about his questions. they really only saw eachother on the walks to and from school, they had one period together and even with that they didn't talk. Barnaby was always trying to be funny, but to everyone it was seen as stupid. maybe even Wally. wally was 16, and even for 16 he could tell barnaby wasn't in the bed headspace.

Their names were Bill,Eddie,Stanley,Richie, and Ashley.They were all in the club for a reason.Bill was in it for his stutter, Eddie was in there for being a germaphobe,Stanley was in there for being Jewish,Richie was in there for his glasses, And no one knew why Ashley was in there even though she was a trash mouth and had braces, no one knew but all they knew was that she was badass.

This short story tells the tale of once being so confident with yourself yet losing your personality to anxiety. I wrote it as I am in the process of recovery from my own anxiety, which I have suffered with my whole life. It has gotten to the point, due to pressures at school, where I have burnt myself out and become physically unwell because of it. Before my anxiety got this bad, I adored writing and I wanted to become an author. I haven't written in months and months and I miss it more than anything but my mental health has been eating away at my creativity. I think it will come back to me overtime. The story here is presents how I thought I could not be ever be at peace with myself again. But there is always a way out, it doesn't end here. The main theme is being envious of the fact that everything seems so effortless to everyone around me but I have to work just as hard to just exist. But existing and living a fulfilling life are two very different things. I have learnt I need to give myself a break. Now I have the opportunity to work towards the latter option. I don't mind if no one sees this but I just want to get it out there in the world. Remember, it can always get better.
