Belief The strongest thing in the world. It can give someone hope when everything seems lost and a feeling of power when you think that you can fight no more. Belief can make anything stronger, more alive and truer. From belief is how many religious gods got a name, how legends and stories are being formed. It all starts with a name and one believer. The light spreads, from person to person and that name gains power. Slowly, it is more believed in and that name gets a form, then a face and then existence. This is how the fairy tails came to be. How the protectors and the enemies of the children appeared and how they exist up until today. However, just like in every situation, there is a catch. A small area that is not white or black but grey. There, no side can be taken, and no rules apply the same. In the case of fairy tales, you have the light side with the Guardians and the spirits; tasked to protect their children. On the other side, you have the Boogieman and those who want to harm and terrorize the innocent bright souls of young children. And in the middle, in the grey zone, you have a single lonely figure with a task no one else wants, a task that makes them receive hatred and fear instead of admiration and love. And that person carries it without a word of complaint. That person is Thanatos but nowadays, she goes by Grim Reaper...the Guardian of Life and the outcast of the Big Five.

And it wasn't just a coincidence that he passed it again a few years later. Back then he was invisible to everyone there, but due to some major changes that happened over those years, it seems he wasn't quite invisible as he thought he was. Not to the fifth spirit that is. a jelsa fanfiction that takes place after the events of Frozen 2 (so if you haven't watched it yet there will be spoilers)

Then he finds her. A woman commanding snow like it belongs to her. Elsa can't see him. Jack can't stop watching. And when his staff accidentally collides with Elsa's magic over two harmless snow sculptures- boom. Two very human toddlers open their eyes. One has Jack's white hair and Elsa's blue eyes. The other has Elsa's pale hair and Jack's eyes. And somehow, Elsa can suddenly see the irritatingly handsome spirit floating beside her. Then the children speak. "Mama." "Papa." Now two immortal winter spirits who have never met have to figure out what they created, why an old Snow Child fairy tale seems to be coming true, and whether spring will take their children away. Okay, so, I've been looking everywhere for a free version of William Joyce's', The Guardians of Childhood, and I found a place where I could read them without paying or missing pages. At least, I think I have. This is possibly, most likely, definitely, illegal, and I take no credit for his books; I just want people to be able to read them without buying/paying or running across different libraries to find them. With all that being said, I hope you enjoy reading about our favorite Guardians! (Fair warning: This is going to be extremely long, as you've probably guessed, so be warned )

One day, Pitch Black appeared in her nightmare and offered her an offer that was hard to refuse but Elsa hesitated. Pitch was not going to give up on her. Afterall, she was similar to Jack Frost. Just when things were looking gloomy, Jack appeared in her life. Will Elsa give in to darkness or finally be strong enough to overturn her fears and rule them? Nothing to indicate this year will be any different from the ones before. That is, until Elsa meets the new girl Merida. This year is starting to look a whole lot more fun.
