As the youngest sibling of the Peralta clan, he's seen each one of his sisters shipped off to marry some rich guy half way across the world. He's seen some of his brothers married off as well, the girls' fathers hoping to settle them down. But not him, and it never will be. Amy Santiago didn't even think that arranged marriages still happened in America. She was wrong. After her wealthy father falls into debt, he gets a proposal, for his daughter to marry Hunter Peralta in exchange for money and for Amy to have a stable life no matter what. Victor Santiago takes the deal, only wanting what's best for his daughter. She doesn't see it that way. - - - "The contract states that she has to marry a Peralta right? It never states a certain one?" Jake interrupts whatever their fathers were talking about. "What are you getting at Jake?" His dad asks. "You've always wanted me to be set up with someone, I want to marry her."

It seemed to be an open and shut case of larceny. Get back the poor guy's stolen necklace, simple, right? Things turn out to be a bit more complicated when said guy is murdered a couple days later, and the necklace in question is sought after by some of the most dangerous crime families in the USA. The FBI appoints the Nine-Nine to track down this necklace and help take down the criminal organizations that are after it as well, leading them on a cross-country chase down. Also, a lot of Peraltiago because I mean come on.

Isotta (pronounced E-ZOT-TA) is a 13 year old girl who spends two years of her life (11-13) in a torture camp. NYPD detectives find her and many others at this camp and they save them, arresting the men who work at the camp. Isotta then has to go through a long recovery where she forms a strong mother and daughter relationship with one of the female detectives in the 99. I have not rated my story as mature because none of the violence is written about in a gruesome way. However I will make sure to put trigger warnings at the start of each chapter if there are any. This book is not for very sensitive people and I would probably rate it 13+. I don't recommend people under 13 reading it. Otherwise I hope you enjoy my fanfic about Brooklyn 99 and Isotta. I don't own any characters except Isotta. Brooklyn 99 does not belong to me and neither do any of the characters in it.
