Janis opens her mouth but nothing comes out of it. The other woman doesn't share the same reaction as her. She doesn't look surprised. Doesn't look confused. She just looks tired. Minutes could have passed as they stood there, the two faces -the same face- looking at one another. Maybe hours. Maybe just mere seconds. Janis doesn't know. Doesn't even remember. All she remembers is the sound of the train arriving. And the woman jumping right in front of it. *This au is based on the TV show Orphan Black (but you don't need to watch the show to understand the story)

(This is after the musical and they're seniors at North Shore High) It was senior year at North Shore High and Janis and I been dating for 7 months now and I was that typical musical nerd and band geek but I didn't hang with them I hung out with Cady(Caddie and Cat as I called her), Janis(Jan Jan, Jan, Jay Jay, Jay, my love and so many other names) and Damian(Dame) of course because I wanted to hang with my love, Janis.
