*The story is being rewritten, so there's going to a stark change in lore and details for "A Simple Gesture". I started writing this nearly four years ago, it's due for a makeover.* Maddie Gray and her friends, Charles Allen and Andrea Fletcher, decide to visit Japan for spring break. While visiting, they stumble across a website dedicated to describing shrine forests across the country. One that happened to be nearby was Kasuga Taisha, one of the biggest shrine forests in the country. Because of their love for nature and history, they decided to visit Kasuga Taisha the very next day. While traveling to a specific shine deep within the forest, a spirit stumbles upon the group of young adults. This particular spirit does not like strangers, not one bit. But, to the spirit's surprise, she finds herself attracted to Maddie. She finds herself quickly addicted to Maddie's kindness. Miyoko has always loved the lavish things in life, but was never the one to share. Miyoko is not going to let Maddie leave, as Miyoko's love is the rarest things that can be bestowed upon. The pictures I use are NOT mine. This is a work of fiction. I use a name generator to help me find names, so my apologies if the Japanese names don't make sense. I hope you enjoy the story!

Will she ever be able to understand her consequences, or live in that unforgiving shame she has formed? These chapters will contain blood, gore, Japanese monsters, and delusions. If any of these scare you, I recommend not starting the chapter, otherwise, you may enjoy it!
