Jack Kelly is a multimillionaire and the 8th most powerful man in New York. Whilst away on a business trip, his impulsive assistant decides to bring over a visitor. A visitor who reminds Mr Kelly of himself and his humble beginnings. A visitor who can maybe teach Mr Kelly a few valuable lessons... -i suck at summaries. So apparently you can only have 200 chapters in a single book, so, here are some my favorite one-shots throughout the fandom part 2.

A modern day remake of Newsies, the smash hit Broadway musical and Disney movie. Jack Kelley and his gang work in a news center/bookstore in the mall, and decide to go on strike when Pulitzer, the owner, decides to raise prices but lower wages. With some help from their friends from Brooklyn- ahem, Barnes and Noble, actually- and a feisty young journalist, the boys strike to create a cause, something that everyone can believe in. And maybe even discover themselves along the way. :)

A Modern AU in which Jack Kelly lives with at least twenty other foster kids. Every single day is difficult for the kids as they avoid the authorities and try to stay out of trouble. Until a murder happens, and one of Jack's boys is the prime suspect. Jack, the usually optimistic dreamer, sees no way out. Until he meets this cute girl at work and suddenly things start looking up. Will Jack and his friends, new and old, be able to clear the suspect's name before it is too late or will they be separated forever? I don't own the Newsies from either the original movie or the Broadway. I don't own my title technically since it is a lyric from Santa Fe in the Broadway. I know the summary is not that great, but at least take a peek.

Ever think about all the shenanigans the early-20s newsies would get up to if they all lived in small groups in small apartments? What drama, what decisions, what family moments would happen? In Manhattan Newsies, we'll look into that and more, as we dive into the lives of the newsies exploring early adulthood. (Includes all the characters).

I know, I'm really late to the Newsies fandom... this is just a bunch of Jackrine one shots.

He used to believe in it all, love at first sight, one that lasted forever. Funny how one experience could ruin your whole perception of life. Jack hadn't loved himself for a long time. Hadn't since middle school when he had to fit into the classic stereotype. He thought he had overcome that with Katherine. Or was she just dragging him down? You can learn a lot from others. If you just sit and get to know them. Which is exactly what they did. But the outcome, is something neither of them expected.

Katherine knows their is something strange about Burgess, but she can't put her finger on it. Could finally meeting Jack Frost put all the pieces together? Finding out the truth, however, is harder than expected and it will take the both of them working together to find and accept what they learn.

It was just after the strike, Katherine and Jack were not together and they all had a party at the logging house that lead to some interesting situations. Ok, I'm not good at writing descriptions so ya
