To think became something very dangerous in the Equalitarian Republic of Germany. The ruthless Party has ruled the country for decades. A powerful Artificial Intelligence system monitors everything and everyone through social networks. The Party has elected the guilty ones to award their own mistakes and failures. The enemies are the intransigent. Those who insist on living according to their beliefs, those who question and do not accept change their values. They were branded as cattle, and condemned to poverty and humiliation. Party-tyrannized society is sick and doomed. This weakness will attract unimaginable terrors that can have various forms and faces. The thirst for power and knowledge is sweet and tempting, but it can enslave those who seek it by waking monsters that should never be awakened. Some still resist and are the last hope of those who dream of freedom. But, maybe, it's already too late.

On a whim, I've just been dying to write more poetry lately, dying to get out of this writer's block...FUNK. I hope these aren't too dreadful. The meaning of the poems might be a little fuzzy or unclear, but they're meant for you to make your own meaning out of them if you can't distinguish one of my meanings. Often, my poems have double meanings, but I'm no genius, so sometimes they're also straight to the point. Please enjoy.

September 11th a high jacker doubts his mission. A fireman struggles to save his fiancé. A teenage boy loses him mind to radical Christianity. And a Lit professor prepares to start a college shooting. The only way to describe September 11th is through the long and arduous threads of life. Lives of others. Many. Changing. Folding together. Making. Interconnecting. Transposing our demise to our requiem. Forming on song, one tragedy, one day for our befallen. United, burnt, and broken. The smoke of our breaking made a momentous struggle a timeless sacrifice. Cover photo statue "Sleeping Beauty", by Ludwig Sussman-Hellborn
