Cara Lane is a shy teenager who never had friends. When she moves to Domino City with her father, Simon Lane, as the new detective, she encounters Yugi and his friends who are welcoming and friendly. She was especially drawn to Yugi when she had trouble fitting in her new school life. Before she was able to settle in, she also encountered a strange egyptian man who gave her Millenium item known as the Millenium Bracelet, claiming she was destined for it. Unsure of it, Cara has yet to discover what the bracelet holds for her future as she and her new friends venture into an adventure of a lifetime.

Of course the little more distant Seto is never too far, either. But through the mystery and confusion it brings, it also brings new friends. But in turn those bring more feelings and hard decisions. But to get past those, (y/n) listens to his heart, as he so often does.

Jounouchi has been down in the dumps as of late. Soon he runs into someone unlikely, said person is willing to offer him some advice.

This story takes place after Joey and Yugi graduate high school. Joey is working at a bike shop and trying to save up enough money to escape his troubled home life while Yugi takes a year off before going to university to figure things out. During this time, Yugi learns that there is much more to his best friend than he could have ever imagined and their relationship grows stronger because of this. This an AU and story does not follow the YGO storyline. Yami Yugi is not a part of this fic. I don't know if this story will be any good, but the lack of wishshipping fics is a bit sad, so I decided to write my own. I've never publicly posted anything I've written so I will be extremely grateful to anyone that takes the time to read this, also constructive criticism is always welcome. Thank you. Also, the artwork used for the cover is NOT mine. There is some physical violence and emotional abuse in the story that may be upsetting to some readers. Please, proceed with caution.
