He didn't want to go to a university next year, his plans were to stay local and go to community college for a few years. It was his senior year of high school, and the only things on his mind were going to as many parties as possible, late night drunk adventures at the beach, and keeping up with the responsibility of being the senior class president. Ricky never told any of his friends, but he had a passion for writing songs. His mother always loved to sing, and something about conveying the feelings of his heart on pen and paper reminded him of her. Appearing to be two seemingly different people, what happens when the two discover their similar passions for music? And when the world does? Everyone sees him as this "bad boy hearthtob" but, Nini finds him and his entourage of dumbies, rude and a waste of time. But what if there's more then what he shows to everyone? What happens when Nini is assigned to tutor the one and only Ricky Bowen and his secret slips out? What happens when Ricky doesn't see Nini as some girl toy? Will she keep a promise of staying quiet?
