They had reached the end. The end of the scenario and the end of their journey. Then Dokja woke up; still on the subway, clutching his phone with TWSA's last chapter on his phone. Kim Dokja was infamous as a tyrant who, under his rule, had conquered the entire world, leaving a trail of war and bloodshed in his wake. He was the most powerful and ruthless emperor humanity had ever known. Deemed handsome, talented, intelligent, and strong, what flaws could such a mighty ruler possibly have? Once again, Kim Dokja stood in a throne room filled with the bodies of Murim's royal family. He thought he had eliminated them all, but one remained-the third prince of the Kingdom of Murim, the Crown Prince, Yoo Joonghyuk. As Kim Dokja's eyes fell upon the prince's face, he was momentarily struck by Yoo Joonghyuk's handsomeness. His frown turned into a smirk, and he slowly extended his sword, pointing it at the prince. "You shall be my concubine."

Kim dokja and Yoo joonghyuk is well.. uhm strangers to say at least. But Yoo junghyuk feels deja vu when he always sees Kim dokja. But they will never know that they are soulmates. Kim dokja is Yoo joonghyuk soul mates from the past.

Emperor Yoo Joonghyuk regrets his life decisions after Empress Kim Dokja died (after protecting him). He got sent back to the past to atone for his sins and he tried to win his empress along the way but Empress Kim Dokja is acting weird, he was different than the Kim Dokja he knew. ---- Crossposted on Twitter and Ao3!

TW: Mentions of suicidal thoughts and depression. Many had heard of the tragic king. The control of a country given to him only due to the assassination of his family. King Yoo Joonghyuk, this newly crowned king had fallen into a state of deep depression. That was, until a certain servant appeared. The king had been unable to notice anything around for the past three years, but he noticed this one. This servant was constantly busy. Any job that needed doing, he would do in a heartbeat. The man would take any shortcut possible, but his results never suffered for it. Kim Dokja, the king had learned, wasn't very talkative. However, almost everyone, no matter their status, seemed drawn towards him. To be quite frank, he was a rather enjoyable presence in their lives. One day, the king found the servant in a closet, away from the hustle and bustle. Although many new he was an introvert, this felt off to the king. Thus, he sat down next to him. ----- Basically, KDJ goes through sad boy hours in a closet (🧐) and YJH goes to be by his side. YJH is absolutely whippeddddddd lolllllllll. Anyways, do enjoy.
