I originally posted this on ao3, but I thought I'd also add it here. This is a Jopper fanfiction set at the end of s3, but there's an alternate ending in which Hopper didn't 'die'. There is NO smut in this sorry.

So in my opinion Season 5 was horrible in handling queer representation (as someone who is part of the LGBTQ community herself), especially with queer baiting Byler, so I've combined both of my hyper fixations together, and made a fanfic where Will and Mike get the love story they deserve!

Joyce and Hopper have just made their family complete, adopting two more daughters (Kali and Lydia) with powers just like El's. But when Joyce finds out that she's pregnant she's worried it will tear the family apart.

Summary: Uploading my work from ao3 A rewrite of the events after Season 5, Episode 5. To (hopefully) ease the disappointment that so many of us are feeling, I wrote this fanfic addressing some issues and things we wanted to see more of, many of which we had with volumes 2-3 of the series finale. The group can unanimously agree they are done chasing mysteries. After the devastating events that almost destroyed Hawkins, they are all tired and still in mourning, doing whatever they can to move on and find their paths. But Hawkins is indeed a cursed place and, after all it's been through, it still has more to hide: The group is reunited once more when a mystery stranger than ever threatens the peace they fought so hard to build: Mike Wheeler has disappeared for an entire month. And when he miraculously returned, he didn't seem himself anymore. But, most importantly, he had no memory of what had happened during that period of time. The group must find out what happened to him and why he started acting strange, all of a sudden. Hawkins has always been a place for nightmares to thrive and this is Mike's biggest one: turning into a monster. Too powerful to be stopped. A sort of evil grows stronger, with every day that passes, inside of him, waiting for a massacre.

The Byers + El and hopper move back to Hawkins. The whole party and Nancy help the Byers move back in and settle down. Mike and El are being very affectionate and Will is very jealous. A girl knock on the down who happened to move to Hawkins right after the Byers when to California. The girl bought cookie for the Byers. Will and the girl were talking but Mike felt jealous for some reason. Will and the party soon realize Vecna is back! And Will so happens to be on a he chopping board... Btw this story takes place in 1988

The girl never thought this would exist outside of movies. Yet one day, she got herself in the biggest mess of messes. Personally, she thinks it's Steve's fault. Her big brother who ate her food one evening, making her have to bike late at night. Little did she know, that this would be the biggest mistake of her life. However at the same time the best thing that had happened to her. Since that night, she has found friendship, family and love. Stranger Things season five volume 2 and 3 if I would've written it. This fic starts in the middle of the ending scene of episode four btw and some scenes are still the same or very similar to the actual ones in the show. There are multiple ships in here but the focus is more on Byler :) And also this is my first fanfic and English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if the grammar or punctuation isn't right.
