Until one night, a couple months before high school graduation, she runs into Josh. They haven't spoken much since they agreed to play the long game, but feelings are reignited. Maya Hart is a freshman at NYU with her best friends Riley Matthews, Farkle Minkus, Lucas Friar, Isadora Smackle, Zay Babineux. Riley Matthews is more than just Maya's best friend, they consider to be each other's sister. They've been through everything together ever since Maya walked in through Riley's bay window when she was little. But just like any relationship, they've had their ups and downs. Through everything, they've stayed together. Maya has trouble with keeping hope. Ever since her father left her and her mother to have another family, she's felt like she can never be good enough. She's definitely hopeless when it comes to love. She thought she was in love with Riley's cute, young uncle Joshua Matthews but he was 3 years older and she was constantly reminded by everyone around her. Now Joshua's a junior at NYU and Maya's a freshman there studying Art. Will their paths cross? Will they realize the potential of their relationship? After Lucas chooses Riley, they start to distance themselves from the group more and more as time goes on. As the group is now only Smackle, Farkle, Zay and Maya they begin to drift apart as well. However, certain circumstances bring the group back together but alot of things have changed. Maya begins to date Ben (Mitchell Hope), Zay is now known as the schools biggest flirt, Smackles priorities have changed and Farkle is the coolest guy.

Meanwhile, Sofia, Claire, and Isla continue to have Joshua completely wrapped around their little fingers. One morning, Maya begins feeling unusually tired and sick. At first she blames it on chasing six toddlers around all day. But after several weeks of symptoms, Joshua convinces her to schedule a doctor's appointment. Neither of them expects anything unusual. After all, they already experienced the shock of a lifetime once. Then the doctor delivers unbelievable news. Maya is pregnant. Again. And not with one baby. Not with twins. Not even with sextuplets. She's expecting septuplets. Seven babies. Joshua and Maya find themselves preparing for another incredible adventure while trying to raise six toddlers at the same time. Their family of eight is about to become a family of fifteen.

We had know each other since we were babies and our parents were best friends in high school and are best friends now. We've come out on to our balconies to talk about life since we were 7. Which, at the time, was Sarah didn't give me the juice box she promised or Yogi barely helped with our project, but as we grew older we became inseparable. We started talking about our first crushes, our first relationships, and our first heart breaks. Like I said we were inseparable, that's why when I started falling for him I didn't understand why

Everyone in there word is laced with a necklace when there born. When they fall-in-love they will know because they are finally aloud to look at the name in lace on the necklace. Riley Mathews and Maya Hart fall in love, which complicates everything. They look at their lockets, and have to deal with the consequences of losing everything, everyone, and theirselves. Riley breaks the rules and changes the future, and the past, but still has to figure out everything. Can she save her friends from her mistakes?
