Vì đi trong chỗ vừa tối vừa không nghe thấy gì nên các giác quan của tôi hay cụ thể là tai tôi nghe được rất rõ. Trong hang có tiếng nước nhiễu, nhịp tim của tôi và cả hơi thở của bản thân. Chưa bao giờ tôi lại nghe rõ những âm thanh này như thế. Nhiều lúc vì bị mất đi ánh sáng tôi đã mất thăng bằng và vấp ngã. Cho dù không nhìn thấy nhưng tôi biết bản thân bây giờ vừa nhem nhuốc vừa dính đầy nước. Ngoài ra tôi vẫn không cảm thấy được mùi gì khác ngoài rêu và đá ẩm mốc. Bỗng nhiên ở đầu bên kia rực lên những tia sáng trắng chói loá. Rồi tia trắng đó bao phủ lấy cơ thể tôi. Khi tôi tỉnh dậy quang cảnh xung quanh dường như đã thay đổi, cái hang cũng đã biến mất một cách khó hiểu. - Chuyện gì thế này ? Đây... là đâu? Tuy có một chút kì lạ song tôi vẫn đi xuống núi vì mặt trời đã sắp lặn hẳn. Mặc dù nói là khung cảnh có thay đổi nhưng phải nói là có chút quen thuộc.
