"A Day from June" is a short comic about a young boy who learns the true value of money and hard work.
The Conflict: The story begins with a boy who spends his time playing video games and casually asking his father for money. When his father tells him to focus on his studies because life isn't easy, the boy dismisses his father's efforts, claiming the work "can't be that difficult". The Turning Point: The next morning, the father brings the boy to his workplace so he can experience it for himself. The boy is exposed to a harsh, factory-like environment where "the heat felt alive" and "every second carried risk". He watches his father endure demanding physical labor, face strict supervision, get reprimanded by a boss, and suffer a hand injury. The Resolution: Witnessing his father's sacrifices makes the boy realize how heavy the burden of work truly is. The eye-opening experience fundamentally changes him. By the end of the story, on June 21, the boy sets a new "Goal: Focus on Studies" and is shown working hard at his desk.
