Emma was just a 17 year old girl living in Roanoke, a small town in Maine. Things were finally looking up for her, she's graduating high school in less than a month, her dad just got a new job in Texas which is where she is going to attend college in the fall with her boyfriend Kit and it was her and her dog Alex's one year anniversary together.
