The perfect beach, the perfect weather, the (almost) perfect friends. The perfect life. All of it seemed to be going my way, and it was funny how it really was all perfect. I was chosen to be the valedictorian of my high school that year. I played video games like a lot though, and somehow, I aced all my classes pretty effortlessly though. It was all great, just perfect.

Ofunehiki: the ofunehiki is a festival that both the land and ocean people, the sea gods power is weakening and salt flake snow will keep falling and might freeze the world killing all humans and until his power his renewed the ocean humans must hibernate, they believed the only way to please the sea God was to perform the ofunehiki. The original pairings of this anime were hikarixmanaka, chiskaixtsumugu, and kanamexsayu. This story will have the pairings hikarixmiuna, and chisakixkaname only! This is a fanfic on how I think this anime should have went. I was really depressed when the anime didn't have the pairings I wanted. Some days, it's better just to stay in bed.

It's the last straw and I've completely blown it. No amount of apologies can make my dad change his mind. He's overreacted, but there's nothing I can do about it. Moving hours away from home is horrible. I don't know anyone and I certainly don't want to make new friends here, in eight long months time I would be home again, back where my old friends are. It's obvious I'm not welcome here, so the sooner I can go home, the better.

They try the friends thing and after a little blood, sweat, and broken hearts, something new happens.

When they thought they were finally safe, a berg appears and changes the lives of the Gladers completely. Unexpected events happen which makes the Gladers rethink everything which they knew.
