Izuku thought he was quirkless. Then at the end of his middle school years after almost encountering death he discovers his powers. The power to heal. He will be accepted into UA but rather than being a hero by fighting villains, he will become the greatest hero but not with violence and punches rather with his heart.

"You know, if you really wanna be a hero that badly, there actually might be another way. Just pray you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building." Izuku Midoriya listened. Having never met his father, Reita Toritsuka, Izuku didn't know that his dad actually had a medium quirk, allowing him to see and be possessed by ghosts. Izuku finds out that his father actually passed this quirk on to him in a rather unconventional way- Izuku can't die. In his new ghost form, his senses are heightened, and he has new qualities that will make him a brilliant hero, like stealth and speed. He manages to get into Japan's top hero course at UA High, where he reunites with a familiar face- the person who made him like this. And Izuku wants revenge.

Yuji Itadori was born in a Japan filled with heroes, villains, and rankings impossible to keep track of. And he... doesn't have a flashy Quirk, no sparks, no fire, none of that. The only thing he comes with by default is a ridiculously strong body. His entire adolescence was normal, but it's hard not to stand out when you open a door and bend it by accident, or when you break the records in P.E. without even trying.

Ever since Izuku's father died from his drinking his mother just couldn't support them on her own so Mitsuki invited them into her home.
