What would Jordie think if his little brother died in some nameless alley because he couldn't conquer some stupid sickness inside him? What anyone think if Dirtyhands was bested by some nobody looking to make a quick buck? Another thought came less easily, but managed to mount icy fear and prickling hot shame more than any other, What would Inej think? She had said she wanted him without armor, and now that it had been ripped away, he was going to die. She would come back from her year at sea and find him long dead and gone. Would she care at all? What if she had let him go? No. She wouldn't do that. Inej had always believed in him. She trusted him, cared about him, and never, never gave up on him. Everyone else had, hadn't they? He had to survive the night. Even if it was only for the childish hope, the small, stupid hope that she might come back to him someday.

Kaz shows up on the Wraith with a stab wound. Inej has to find a way to stitch up a boy who can't be touched.

Nearly a year after Crooked Kingdom, the Crows decide to reunite in Ketterdam. Meanwhile, Kaz loses his gloves, and Inej scours the city to find them. The story is set after SoC but before King of Scars/Rule of Wolves.

The background story of how Kaz, Inej, and Jesper got the painting mentioned in the first episode of the "Shadow and Bone" TV show. Enjoy!

First story, I'm sorry if it sucks. Six of crows fanfic. Set after Crooked Kingdom, but Inej is still in Ketterdam, not on sea. Read this after you read Crooked Kingdom because its based around the major character death that happens. It's mainly about Nina, though all the Crows are in the story. No triggers as far as I can see (apart from dealing with death), but let me know if there is triggering content and I'll add a warning. This isn't going to be very long, just around ten medium-ish chapters. That's all I want to say, as far as I know, so yeah. Hope this is actually decent!

Kaz wants to take Pekka Rollins down for good, and is ready to put his life on the li e in order to make sure it is done. Inej and the Crows help is dire for this mission. Kaz fears for Inej's safety in this plan to defeat Pekka Rollins, but Inej insists that she can go through with it. Unfortunately, she is captured, and Kaz will not have it. Will Kaz successfully save his Wraith with his Crows, go insane in the process, or BOTH?
