This prompts him to seek a new destiny in which he strays away from her. Only then does Katara realize her mistake. They try to move on from each other as the years pass. After 3 years of being apart, a reunion is in sight but how will Katara react to a new love interest in Aangs life? Inspired by Heart Broken

"Do you think we'll be able to find the source of the attacks as fast as President Raiko wants us to?" Jinora was quit concerned. There was something about the energy the spirit vines were emitting. I decided to follow writing prompts for Kataang week, so this book will be a bunch of Kataang and their family one-shots (not chronological). Most of them are pretty short. In a benderless modern world, the characters of ATLA go about their everyday lives. there are no tribes but there are different groups of students that don't really merge together. families usually keep to themselves as their parents encourage them to keep away from others who aren't friends of family. In this AU all characters are a couple years older, so they're more mature then the age they are in ATLA, in this they're late teens, so no creepy kid stuff I promise. until a new kid (aang) arrives at school and changes many things for most of his classmates and the school. resulting in enraging the headmaster Ozai. I know this story seems pretty basic but I'll try to make it more interesting with many different romantic opportunities and potentially some dark and emotional twists. if you love ATLA and some of the ships then you should give this a read. I'll keep working on it, I'm sorry if I'm a little slow. this is just for my own enjoyment to be fair and hopefully everyone who reads it. please don't be harsh. Enjoy :)

After the end of the 100 Year War. The Gaang began working towards fixing and rebuilding the world. Zuko took his place as Firelord and ushered in a new era of peace in the Fire Nation. Toph, Sokka, Suki, Katara, and Aang traveled to villages to help rebuild, including the reconstruction of the Southern Water Tribe. Aang and Katara finally admitted their love for one another and began a happy relationship. Aang was awarded the title of a fully realized Avatar at the age of 18. He was able to fully master the Avatar State without giving up on his love. Sokka and Suki got married, along with Zuko and Mai. Together the Four Nations, led by the Gaang themselves, started work on a new place, one where people of all nations could live together, they named this place Republic City. Katara became upset at Aang's seeming unwillingness to finally settle down but news that Aang would once again have to resume his travel as the Avatar forced Katara to make a difficult decision... but a waterbender will change Aang's life forever!

Sokka is having trouble figuring himself out. He doesn't know what's going on in his life and it doesn't help that the world needs his help to figure itself out. How can he help the world if he can barely help himself? It all just seems a lot to take in, but thankfully, even though the world is filled with the worst heartbreaks one can imagine, it can also be blessed with the most beautiful miracles anyone has ever seen.

For generations, the Water Troupe and the Air Troupe have never been getting along... One day, an air bender is assigned a mission to kill the leader of the Water Troupe and his family. While attempting to, he falls in love with the leader's daughter yet she's engaged to the leader of the Fire Troupe's son. Over time, they slowly get closer...until she too falls in love with him.

Six months after the Gaang defeated Ozai the new Firelord Zuko finds out his girlfriend Mai has gone missing. But with the help of Aang, Katara, and Sokka they go off on a mission to hunt down the people who captured Mai. But on the way Aang starts having recurring dreams of men with crown badges!
