But Newt is the glue, and he sticks with her. They're not meant to stay together-but hearts don't always listen, even when they know the truth. Portals show up, left and right, an unnatural anomaly. Sending humans, cranks, and kids from the Hunger Games everywhere across different globes. Being split apart is a given. Everyone is eventually. But for some reason, Katniss is managing to stay beside Newt, and she knows their time is borrowed. The portals will pull them apart eventually. And so she won't let go of his hand. No matter what. Newt knows something Katniss doesn't. He knows he's not immune from the Flare virus infecting his world. He can't stay with her. They're not meant to be. And the portals don't relent. They pull, and pull, and pull. Time is up. Thomas refuses to give up, and so, during the dangerous portal open-ups, the search for Minho is continued. But now everything goes to plan. Friends are lost. Secrets are spilled. Katniss much make a choice. Stay in this new world and find a way to close these looming portals, or try to return home by throwing herself into any given portals? Glue can't stick things together forever. Things come apart. Katniss could be lost in time. Forever.

School works like this. In kinder to year 1 everybody's friends. In year two it changes people become mean. In year three everything is great again, you found your best friend. In year four that changes. Year five is better but not much. In year six something finally goes right but almost everything else goes wrong. In year seven and eight it changes again it's a good time in your life but nothing could compare to high school. High schools a game of friends and enemies, crushes and boyfriend and truth or dare or in this case truth Odair. Katniss is 17 and has to fight her way through high school with heart breaks, love and bullies. With the help of her friends, Finnick, Annie, Cato, Clove, marvel, glimmer, Joanna and Peeta and the occasional game of truth Odair. Will she make it through with so many things standing in her way.

We all know the real story of the Hunger Games, but sometimes - I'm sure - we wonder, What if? What if this happened differently? What they hadn't died? Some What ifs are written out here.
