Yue was never meant to be born. She was a last resort. A long long time ago, Ta Lo's dragon became very weak from a terrible attack during war. Without the dragon, there was no way for the magic of Ta-lo to survive. In efforts to bring the strength of the dragon back, they needed a vessel, something the dragon could hold onto. She began a normal life there, becoming good friends with a girl named Katy and a boy named Shaun throughout high school, continuing to be best friends into their early 20s. The dragon of Ta Lo decided to keep her memories of her power and home from her, knowing that it would be safer if she didn't know. What happens when Yue's past comes back to hurt her, and Shaun's?
