A teen is not taking no for an answer when she decides to break the norm of her parents plan for her future to pursue her love for fashion.

A young girl named Anastasia grew up in a poor family , she has a dream to be a writer . Anastasia has anxiety and depression , and it only gets worse . Anastasia learns to love herself and other with the help of her new friends and her girlfriend , Hailey .

There is a girl, who lives in Denver Colorado. After her dad passed she didn't think she was going to make any of her dreams come true, but apparently fairy tales do exist.

This is my Katy Keen writing contest entry. It's a story about a young girl named Alex who was sexually abused by her stepfather. Alex has told the police and they have done their investigation but her stepfather was not charged with anything seeing as their was not enough evidence to convict him. Since then Alex has made it her goal to become an investigatory with anything dealing with minors who have been sexually abused as she has. Her getting sexually abused was a starting point but once she finds out her mother is pregnant with a baby girl, she is determined to make sure her little sister doesn't have to go through what she did. Alex is doing everything she can to get her stepfather in jail as well as any other cases that go through the Wasilla, Alaska police department.

DECIDE I've always wanted to sing my own songs, ever since I was a little. COMMIT The Show Choir loud and I take out my music, quiet in a classroom full of noise as I wait for my teacher to start class. She does, after a couple of attempts for quiet (a lost cause in my opinion) and in the still chaotic classroom announces, "We will be having a concert and people are allowed to try out for solos..." People are talking, people are laughing, people are yelling-but I can't hear them. There's a rush in my ears and a single voice screams out to me yelling, "DO IT!" It's coming from my heart. SUCCEED. "You're up next," the Sound guy says with raised eyebrows, "You ready?" No. My hands are shaking. My hearts about to explode. I can't do it. But when he asks, I say yes anyway.

Utah native Kieran Wild moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a director. It's easy to feel small in a big city, Kieran if faced with tough decisions when life pushes back. . . . This short story was written for the Katy Keene challenge. I enjoyed the challenge of telling a story in only 500 words. I fell in love with this character and I hope you will too. I'd love to one day expand this story into a full novel.
