In a world of hate and criticism, tangible dreams have no matter. The realness and excruciating intensity of deep, personal dreams are enough to drive people away. My story is untold, my story is unwanted. My dream is inevitable if only people would listen.

This is my Katy Keen writing contest entry. It's a story about a young girl named Alex who was sexually abused by her stepfather. Alex has told the police and they have done their investigation but her stepfather was not charged with anything seeing as their was not enough evidence to convict him. Since then Alex has made it her goal to become an investigatory with anything dealing with minors who have been sexually abused as she has. Her getting sexually abused was a starting point but once she finds out her mother is pregnant with a baby girl, she is determined to make sure her little sister doesn't have to go through what she did. Alex is doing everything she can to get her stepfather in jail as well as any other cases that go through the Wasilla, Alaska police department.

I personified my depression with religious connotations and its confusing but its a meaphor so....... if ur super religious i wouldnt read this lmao. its short and good. about finding happinness and coming to terms with having clinical depression.

He is told to act properly and to never leave this land. However, he dreams of going to Losavillia, the land of the Lost. He has been researching this land for years, even though it's forbidden. He would love to leave and go on an adventure to the unknown land. However, it seems like there is no hope for him to ever leave his home. Until one day, his dream comes true. It all happened because of one of the Lost falling from the sky just to end up in front of Alair. What will he do with this new experience?
