That's how they met. Vanessa was finally returning to London after a two-week-long wedding of her sister. She didn't know that once she gets on the plane, she'll meet him. She didn't know who he was or anything about football and that's what attracted him. When he first made her laugh on that plane he knew that he wanted to keep doing that. It's just something about her that makes him wanna make her smile.
