KJ's robotics malfunctioning on a recent mission has led her to letting her team down and feeling like a failure. She believes a new threat is coming to Valorant, but her teammates are skeptical with her claims. She is set on figuring out who is messing with her devices with an aim to secretly prove to herself and others she is the superior genius than this unknown threat. Raze, missing KJ's quality time due to her current fixation, chips in to play along with KJ on her journey. They start to realize that maybe friendship is not a strong enough term to explain how they feel and act towards each other.

Sure, it's got it's happy moments, enough of Chem and Kobra to make you cry cotton candy (yes, it's that fluffy), Harmless Poison moments, plenty of fights, and... spoiler alert. Somebody dies. The killjoys know this all too well, but this is something they are willing to risk for their cause. They recognize that they are only humans and that they have one life to make a world of difference. This is the story of what happens when all seems lost and how even then you can find the strength to carry on when the music dies and the lights fade.

This story is a little different than you may know. This involves all MCR eras. It's an organization of Killjoys in the desert. Birth names are not usually known, you can only trust the closest people to you to give your real name. Everybody has their own unique symbols and colors and stage names and masks. On Saturdays there's an annual parade called the Black Parade for celebrating the dead in battle and one of our leaders Mother War, as we call her. Then on Sunday there's a funeral for those that during the past week died and also a contribution to our founder Helena with a dance that's called Dance Of The Dead. Following the dance we drive down to Cemetery Drive and bury the dead. Before the funeral is over, everyone also pays contribution to the first Killjoys: Jet Star, Party Poison, Kobra Kid, and Fun Ghoul. Then starts another week of death and fighting against the enemy.

Curiosity killed the cat is a short story based on the Danger Days universe. Cindy is a 18 years old girl from Battery City, where she doesn't fit. She has a job she hates in a Better Living Industries (Blind, for short) factory and lives alone in the workers' neighborhood since her parents death left her lonely and in debts, years ago.
