Now in his adult years, he was a university dropout who couldn't even keep a job as a cashier. He had no friends to speak of and he had long cut off his toxic father. He felt lost in the big city he lived in. He felt he had no purpose there. He felt himself longing for the small-town life he had before his mother passed. Even if it wasn't perfect, anything was better than where he was. So he packed his bags and made the trip back to the town he once called his home. This is a story of a boy feeling lost and coming home to find himself again, with the support of the amazing people he meets along the way. Especially his old friend, Ei-chan; the mysterious boy of his memories with red eyes and shark teeth. That mysterious boy becomes a reality and changes everything Denki thought he knew about his world and himself. Denki Kaminari always felt something unfamiliar in a way every time he caught sight of Eijiro Kirishima, one of his best friends. He felt tingles all throughout his stomach seeing those fiery red eyes, that bold hair, and that toothy but bright smile.. Kirishima's smile brought such a bright one to Kaminari's own face that he couldn't resist falling for the other. He tried to shadow his feelings, to convince himself he didn't truly like his closest friend of all people, but he couldn't hide it, not from himself. To his demise, Kaminari's feeling were completely one-sided, and he knew they wouldn't be reciprocated at all. Especially not after finding who Kirishima himself held feelings for. Of course, that hot-headed shining star that seemed to be praised everywhere he went, Bakugou. Kaminari felt shoved away, forgotten, as he gradually watched the two become closer and he and Kirishima only grew further apart. It got to the point where Kaminari began to feel nauseated at the thought of Kirishima leaving him, yet when he threw up, on the floor he saw.. Petals? Crimson red petals piled on the floor, and they wouldn't cease after that first day. This would continue on, and Kaminari would continue to suffer as he watched himself lose his best friend, his life slowly declining as he did so. Would this be the death of him..?
