flirtae-
"Aren't you going to ask for my name?" Taehyung uttered with a small smirk.
"Why? I know it already." Taehyung raised a single brow at the boys words. "It's not like you come here every day or anything." Jeongguk said sarcastically.
"I like it here. The baristas are always kind to me." Taehyung joked, but then a thought coursed through his head. "Wait. Then why do you always write something different on my cup? Are you illiterate?" He teased.
"W-What? I know perfectly well how to read!"Jeongguk shrieked.
"Hm. Well, if you wanted so badly for me to talk to you, you could've just said so. No need for such a silly plan." His tone was calm but Jeongguk could tell he was enjoying this too much.
Jeongguk coughed, "...You're holding up the line. Go."
"There's no one behind me, sweetheart." Taehyung said before shaking his head in amusement and heading towards his table anyway.
______
Life for Jeon Jeongguk is dull. Sleep, school, work. Rinse and repeat. He can hardly tell his days apart anymore. He was happy once, before he lost what he deemed most precious. Now, he's simply just going through the motions, doing whatever he can to pass time.
He's couldn't help but feel numb. He no longer enjoyed the things he once cherished. Everything felt bleak.
Everything.
Until, him.
Something about Kim Taehyung just seemed to get under his skin. With his infuriatingly perfect smile, cocky attitude, clearly expensive wardrobe, and a voice so smooth Jeongguk couldn't help but prepare it to honey. The mere sight of the man struck an intense feeling of irritation.
And yet, Jeongguk just couldn't seem to get enough of it. What started as a small joke with himself, turned into a game between the two, and Jeongguk refused to give in.
But hey, baristas are known for misspelling names anyway, right?
