A story where a man falls in love with his best friend and hates himself for it.

Jaren is new to town and he has a secret. He can see what people feel in their voice. What happens when he meets a group of people and helps them out? He has become loved in the group and one of the only ones who can help John with his depression. Authors note: Usually I type with my phone, but this one will be typed with a computer so it might be different than the other stories I type. Hope you enjoy it if you read. Also this will relate to my other book called Empty. This book takes place before Empty and also shows how Evan's group met Jaren.

Since I need to start writing a bit more, I've came up to take a small break on my last story and try writing one in general. Since I REALLY enjoy writing a different variety of things and whatnot. I just decided to write something that is less likely to make me bored as fuck.

Smitty and Kryoz have always been close and acting like a married couple. Their friends sometimes even said they were the same person. They did everything together, told each other how they were feeling and hang out constantly. Smitty never thought anything of it. But he had always been a bit oblivious to his own and other's feelings. John quickly found out their relationship was changing, although he didn't seem to mind. But then things happened and feelings changed. Will their friendship survive or will a rift come between them due to unrequited feelings...? ------- A story filled with moments shared between them, varying in perspective (from Kryoz, to Smitty and back to Kryoz, etc.) and a slow build up to the final chapter.
