A millisecond of silence as Kurapika tried to comprehend the proposal, his eyes widening and lips parting, forming an o - then a loud, metallic bang as he threw himself against the chains with all his force, causing Chrollo to quickly move back: "I'd rather rot in hell!" - In a gripping tale of revenge and redemption, Kurapika finds himself ensnared by his past and his enemies. Refusing to compromise his principles, Kurapika is thrust into a deadly game orchestrated by his nemesis. But as he continues his journey, Kurapika unravels new truths and dilemmas about the mysterious leader and his history. -A surprisingly wholesome story!

Kurapika dies. He gets one more chance to make things right. But this means preventing a massacre from ever happening, finding companions he has yet to meet, and fraternizing with an enemy--who isn't truly his enemy anymore. -- The first chapter takes place during the current arc in the manga. -Summery- Kurapika woke to the light that shined brightly over his head, he tried getting up but a heavy hit of pain consumed him. The pain he felt was unbearable, head heavy, and scarlet eyes daze. a fluid of memorise comended to be remembered at once, consuming the blonde. Teasrs formd with an unusual feeling, guilt. Not only did he fail his promise to himself and his clan but The Fantum troupe members are still alive and by the rate he slept they are mostly likely gone..or dead. he sighed in disbelief as he slowly got up and left. he was now on the rooftop. The plague started 5 years ago, spreading across the world at rapid rates, causing a zombie-like state into those who contracted it. Their minds were overtaken, body morphed into something that couldn't be alive. Near that time, the Kuruta Clan's existence became known, their eyes shining scarlet when they were emotional. Some people saw it as a threat, that if they were struck by the disease when their eyes were red, they would become immensely harder to defeat that the normal 'undead.' So, to prevent the problem, a small group of 12 that called themselves "The Phantom Troupe" decided to eradicate their existence completely. But just 6 weeks before the massacre, a young, blond-haired boy at the age of 12 had left the village to explore the world, unaware of the infection slowly killing a large portion of the population. His name was Kurapika, the current last survivor of the Kuruta Clan. He began venturing, soon become quite knowledgable about the disease and how to avoid getting it, also gaining info on the people who destroyed his home village. He was going to get revenge, no matter what. Little did he know, he would eventually meet friends and run into the people who murdered his entire family for the supposed "protection" of the world. And, he would begin learning things he would have never known prior, including things about himself. (~nen does exist~)
