Following the life of Megan Fox and her band Bleed, including Kurt Cobain, Tommy Lee, Axl Rose, Sebastian Bach and Nikki Sixx (who plays themselves). The band moves from a small country town in the middle of nowhere to a life full of sex, drugs and rock and roll in the big city of Los Angeles where they have to fight poverty and drug abuse. The band performs at clubs that were HUGE in LA in the 80's such as The Whisky-A-Go-Go and the Rainbow to selling out arenas. This is definitely a long book showing the progress of the band over about a ten year span. Chapters are full of bad language, drug abuse, abuse in general, sexual scenes basically everything you would expect in a book about being in a rock band. Plus there are also other special guests and bands mentioned such as: Heather Locklear, Poison, Courtney Love, Ozzy Osbourne and more!!!

She's growing up fast and it hurts to know she isn't a little baby anymore. She always asks about you. I keep trying to get it through both of our heads that you're never coming back. I'm writing this to tell you I know what was going through your head. I know how you felt. I'm gonna be with you baby. We can fly high together. I'm giving Courtney full custody. I'll see you in the next life Cobain.

This book was originally titled "My letter to Kurt Cobain". I changed the title to "Grunge Is Dead" in May 2017, and I changed it to its current title in October 2020. This book began in 2015 as an open letter to Kurt Cobain, shortly after I became a fan of rock music and started exploring bands. Since then, music has become a huge source of inspiration and guidance throughout many hardships in my life, and I feel an intense connection towards certain musicians due to the impact they've had on me. This book was updated after Chris Cornell's death in May 2015 and again after Eddie Van Halen's death in October 2020, paying tribute to them and explaining their personal impact on me.

Courtney Love, Tracy Marrander, Tobi Vail. those name came up when it comes to Kurt's list of girlfriend. they only know them. they forgot me. no, they dont forgot me. they just dont know me. Kimberly Shaw. Kurt's Ex-girlfriend. his first crush. his first love. and most of all. i was his bestfriend in middle school. i never leave him, i love him. and he too. when i know that his parents divorced when he was 8 and it changed him, i really really feel like i need to help him trough everything. i did try a lot. i dont want to lose him. when i came to his funeral. i feel sadder than anyone there. i miss him so much even after 21 years now. i still cant move on. i have a son that i named Curtis. and my husband doesnt even know this. yes, this is like a secret. but there are so many stories between us. more adventureous than what he had with Courtney.

What if Kurt never made that poor decision on April 5, 1994? Well...we'll never know for sure, so here's my attempt at writing down a fictional yet better future for our alternative rock God(s).
