Deborah LaChance was the middle child and only child in the LaChance family. Her older brother, Denny, and herself are the only ones in the household who look after the youngest, Gordie. When Denny gets killed in a jeep accident in the spring, Deborah is the only one who can look after Gordie. ~Title of the story comes from Melanie Martinez's "Dollhouse"

Started in 2016 ended in 2020! A bunch of dramatic, misspelled stories with some toxicity lol, but I was young and it wasn't as cringe at the time. Thank you for all the support!

My name is Jamie Collins, and this is my story. This story took place in a tiny town called Castle Rock, Oregon. This is a story in which I spot a lonely boy in the back of the bus, on my first day of junior high. I don't know why I decided to sit next to him. Did I feel bad? Probably. A sat down next to the boy who was the first to touch lips with mine, the first to leave me in a puddle of my own years and tissues, the first to make my heart flutter, and the first to giggle with me as the powdery white snow floated around us, snowflakes getting caught in my eyelashes, the first to make my cheeks turn tinted with the color of bubblegum pink. I don't know why I chose to sit next to him, but I'm glad that I did.

In this story there is a new girl (Claire) that just moved into Castle Rock the summer before 6th grade. She is the same age as the boys in the gang, and she has no interest in hanging out with the girls of the town. So Claire tries making friends and runs into this interesting group of boys. For anyone who hasn't read "The Body." Written by Stephen King; the book that "Stand By Me." is based off of.. there are parts of this story that are referring to the book. If I think anyone would be confused, I'll put notes at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy!

One terrible day, Denny was die in a crash and Gordie began to feel the invisible man because his parents didn't even deign to glance. Luckily he had his best friend Chris Chambers that he was for him a second father. They're friendship is the best that i never saw. I love them so much. 1960's in America. The "cultural decade" where you either changed or were left behind. The '60s defined the counterculture and revolution in social norms of clothing, music, dress and drugs. Conservatives denounce the decade as one of the most irresponsible and flamboyant decade of social order. But that's what made it fun. Called "the Swinging Sixties" for a reason, marking the fall of social taboos and rise of the free spirit. To be a teen in this decade, or even a preteen, was a privilege. In the mids of Castle Rock's minor year, the school newbie mistakenly entangles herself with the lives of four boys who become divided as they're pressured by society and follow their own beliefs.
