With Tikki's life on the line, Mari must make a choice that will affect her or her friends. Meanwhile, Mari's friends are trying to find her on their own, but they don't know that the worst is yet to come.

Marinette and Adrien are on a school field trip in New York with the rest of their classmate. Little did they know that the Parisian superheroes would once again team up with NYC's friendly neighborhood Spider-Men to fight some hunters and crime boss. Every Hero has a Darkside.

But Adrien isn't the same guy that Marinette fell in love with. He is changed. Adrien is sometimes still the same guy that he was, before he found out his father was Hawkmoth and his assistant, Nathalie, was Mayura. Now Adrien is still kind, still smart, still excels in everything he does, but Adrien is brave and... He is wild.

When Marinette is believed dead and Ladybug has no choice but to move on, Chat Noir is left alone to select a new Ladybug and become the holder of the Miracle Box.
