The wolves had taken over most of the land, there was very little free land left in the world. From district 8 Victoria Scott a trained professional hunter now 22 years old is the youngest hunter to take down the second largest pack in history, the Dark Moon Pack and the most famous Alpha Stefan Valentino. Now thirsting for more success she sets her eyes on the biggest pack in history, the Blood Moon Pack.

The last thing that I remember was that a storm began in the middle of the sea. I was alone, hunting after a long day training... for the day that nobody wanted or ever dreamed of. The meeting. Sirens and humans supposedly coexisting in peace once again as it happened once, million years ago. We, all of us knew that nothing could or ever would be the same after the horrible massacre that happened back in 1476. All of the world once knew about us, and they betrayed us by killing each mermaid and merman close to shore. They once loved and lived in completely peace with us but everything fell to pieces after that. Every human was taken away from all of the mermaids there were and with each year that passed, the government made humans believe that we all were a mythological creature that was a creation of each children imagination. We were forgotten. But we are still here.

This is a story that I had originally made for a project in my World HIstory class. After playing a role play/choose-your-own-adventure kind of thing, we made a journal and then turned that into a story. ~*~ Allestra always wanted to experience the thrill of the ocean, even after her father had disappeared one fateful night at sea. Girls weren't expected to be able to do much, so to be able to make her dreams come true, she disguises herself as a boy to find out what an ocean voyage will be like. Follow her in the adventure she takes across the Atlantic Ocean.
