"I love you, Reki." Four words that Langa spoke while Reki was sleeping. Four words that may or may not change the future of the two "best friends." A bad storm hit. Reki Kyan, who was unaware of this coming wheather, had been out riding his skateboard when the clouds grew very dark and the rain became heavy. Not wanting to walk all the way back to his house, he calls the one who lives nearby. Langa Hasegawa. The two end up being stuck in Langa's house, along with his mother, for some time. Pretty easy for best friends to stay over at each other's houses though, right? Yeah, if those best friends weren't in love with each other. ~~~~~~~~ STATUS..........completed!

"Look at me," Reki says, somehow answering Langa's need for a decision. His friend grips his wrist at the edge of his vision and leans closer, the other hand brushing back strands of thin wispy hair that the night breeze has blown into a frazzled mess. "Just look at me, Langa." Reki says again, but Langa is staring at the speckled black sky and tries not to think about black blood. His work has achieved great fame, but he longs to pick up his lyre again and sing freely, by his own command. The two men clash: one born blessed with a gift and the other constantly striving to improve. Reki is welcomed into a world of beautiful language never known to him before, and Langa finds himself a muse that holds the keys to set his verse flying free.
