Okay, here's the text in a different font: Elena Luca was born into power, the only daughter of America's most feared mafia leader. Her life was controlled, protected, and watched, but never truly her own. Everything changed the night she was taken. Kaiyan Moretti, the ruthless leader of the strongest Italian mafia, had spent years hating her father. When his guards brought Lena to him, he saw more than just an enemy's daughter-he saw an opportunity. Cold, controlled, and untouchable, Kaiyan offered her a choice that wasn't really a choice at all: marry him and unite their empires. She agreed for survival. He agreed for power. Their marriage was built on hatred, silence, and control. Every glance was a challenge. Every touch was a war neither of them wanted to lose. She refused to submit. He refused to let her go. But somewhere between stolen moments and unspoken tension, something changed. Hatred turned into obsession. Obsession turned into protection. And protection turned into something far more dangerous.

The story of a conman who finds himself in a most unusual set of circumstances in which he enters a town in order to pull his con, but strangely finds himself thrown into the bizarre land of Streel, which seems oddly familiar to him. And so he will fight his way through the world of absurdity that is Streel; and so he will meet a woman that he believes he loves; and so he will have to go in search of the Freel, to find the winged "slabberjank" and strike it down, facing all sorts of nonsense and absurdity on his journey through the land, for this is the task of right-handed people. Of course, left-handed people are really no different.

This is the first book in the 3 Minute German series. You can start reading this book as a complete beginner and you'll be forming your own sentences by the end of the first chapter. In each lesson, you'll learn a few words and phrases that you'll be able to put together to form sentences. The good thing about the method in this book is that everything you learn is repeated throughout, so you'll never need to go back to recap anything. The words and phrases that you'll learn in this book will be useful to you in any German speaking country. A lot of traditional language courses either start by teaching you an endless list of pronunciation rules, or you learn phrases that aren't too useful for the beginner, such as how to talk about your family or your job. In 3 Minute German, you'll learn the most useful words first. Finally, the title... Obviously, you can't learn German in just three minutes, but you can learn it in three-minute chunks. Usually, when you learn something new, you start out with great enthusiasm and motivation, however, this dwindles very quickly. Instead, if you keep your learning to short daily bursts, you'll be able to maintain your motivation and you'll end up sticking with whatever it is you're learning. By keeping your learning to short chunks, you'll maintain your enthusiasm, it'll quickly become a daily habit, and you'll find you remember things much more easily. I hope you enjoy 🙂

There are words for every feeling in every language Shara Martín knows. In Arabic, the word for heartache folds into the throat like a whisper. In French, love hides behind irony and perfect grammar. In English, pain is clinical. Distant. Manageable. Shara knows how to say goodbye in twenty-four dialects. She just never learned how to mean it. At thirty-two, she is the woman people send into the fire when the world needs clarity. Her tongue is sharp, her reputation sharper. She walks through terminals, embassies, and translation booths with the precision of someone who refuses to be misunderstood. But outside the work, in the margins of time-when the headset is off, and the phone stops buzzing-it's different. That's when the crack shows. Not in her speech, but in the silence. The kind of silence that widens slowly, bringing with it that same ache she thought she'd learned to name. It has nothing to do with being gay. Or being brilliant. Or being alone. It has everything to do with being fluent in everyone else's truth but her own.

My life had always filled with secrets. I had to lie about everything that had happened during my childhood. Sometimes people that are close to me don't even know the real me. It's the only thing that had kept me and my siblings alive this long. For years all I could do was hide away. Just to fulfill the promise I made all those years ago. But like the old saying, ' The truth always has a way of coming out.' Little did I know, everything in my life was about to change. (Updates may be a bit slow in the future, so I apologize in advance.)
