Louis' mentality is a strange little universe on its own. Sometimes it's filled with the thoughts of disappearing completely, sometimes it's the thought of dying and sometimes it's just the way that Boy's hair curls or how he laughs.

harry and louis haven't talked in years. especially after management literally ripped and tore them away from each other. harry was all alone now, he lost his best friend and god does he hate management for doing that. he remembers the last time they hugged and when louis whispered those words into harry's ear, it was their last show together but since then they haven't spoke. harry remembers going to louis that night and how louis rejected him. he never wanted to see harry ever again! he thought about louis every night and boy did he miss him. not only did his connection with louis fade but it did when the other guys as well. now, harry sits at home all day writing in his diary. he missed lou, he missed his lou.

Some say that opposites attracts. Harry has social anxiety, can't even make small talk without stuttering. Louis is outgoing and can't stop himself from introducing himself to complete strangers. Most people ignore Louis, think he's weird for being so open. People do the same to Harry, except most people ignore him for the simple fact of not knowing he exists. Harry stays on the down low. He only opens his mouth when he's forced, even then he makes a complete fool of himself. Louis trusts people he shouldn't and expects everyone to trust him just the same, which can cause some major problems for the lad.

Harry's confused by the sudden topic change but decides to just go with it. He recalls his day's events to Louis and he makes sure to make it extremely funny, partly because he hated that look of despair on Louis' face and partly because he loves those crinkles by Louis' eyes when he smiles. And dare Harry say that he's proud of himself because he made Louis laugh a couple of times. ~~~ Or an au where Harry and Louis meet at a bar and instantly hit it off with each other. But when Harry has to leave abruptly- because his bestfriend's boyfriend broke up with him- Louis asks Harry to put his number in Louis' phone, and Harry does. Harry's insecurities and trauma resurface when even after waiting for Louis' call for almost two years, the call never comes.

Harry Styles has been crushing on Louis Tomlinson since the seventh grade. But Louis has always bullied Harry, and he doesn't share the same feelings towards Harry. Or does he. Will the boys get together? Or will they be torn apart by who they considered a best friend?
