One shot inspired by a post on tumblr in which Harry has a date with a really boring guy. Harry tells his famous jokes, but the date doesn't laugh, instead a guy sitting alone in another table is laughing uncontrollably. His date might have gone home alone, but Harry definitely didn't.

I walked into school, to my locker. I put in my combination and opened my locker, hitting someones face by accident. It was someone I've never seen before. He was dressed in black skinny jeans, a black oversized hoodie, some black sneakers with a few small chains. He had long hair as he had tied it up in a bun, covered by a black beanie. He let a few strands of hair fall by his ears. He had to most beautiful deep emerald eyes that I could just sink into. I apologized and said " Hey , I'm so sorry, are you hurt. I completely didn't mean to ,I just didn't have my morning tea and I'm scared about getting my results for the test and oh my god I'm sorry for ranting on. What's your name?" I felt so embarrassed talking on and on. The boy chuckled softly, I could tell he was shy. He then spoke in the most beautiful raspy voice that I've ever heard. " Hey, uhh its no problem. I should have watched where I was walking. Uhh my name is............". - hEY Its SIm . “Who are you?” Nick asks, throwing himself back onto the coffee table with a loud thump. “I’m Harry Styles. Nineteen. I’m supposed to be playing a show tonight at the O2 with my band One Direction. Uh. I had a fight with my boyfriend last night, and he left to sleep on the couch. That’s the last thing I remember. I was going to sleep, and I was so uncomfortable.” I ramble, my panic returning as I actually say it all out loud. Nick lets out a long breath. “Strange.” he mumbles. “What?” I gasp, looking at him with an unsure face. He shakes his head, his eyebrows furrowed. “The Harry Styles I know is not in a band. Used to be when he was a kid. He’s my roommate. He’s a teaching major. And I left the bloke here last night to study while I got drunk with friends.” Nick tells me. Harry wakes up in another life. His other life. Without Louis and the rest of One Direction Harry is lost. He needs to find his way. Harry needs his compass.

The struggle of loving Louis Tomlinson wouldn't be so bad. Not so bad if Eleanor Calder, Harry's enemy, wasn't his girlfriend.
