My name is Aaliyah (Uh-Lee-Yuh) Ridge, I'm a proud mixed teenager with internal scars. I've fought a mental battle with myself and have recently come to terms that I am beautiful, no matter how many people attempt to bring me down. No matter how many times I listened to their unworthy words and cried myself to sleep with their voices in my head. The loudest voices that fought my demons were those of which; love, care and support me. My family and best friends. To all the teens, (even if you're not a teen,) if you don't have those people you can turn to that are genuine friends or enough to consider "family", know that even though we don't know each other; I love, care, respect and support you! I'm that weirdo out in the world rooting for you to win!
