You have nothing to worry about, they are all on our side" "Except the Vice president. He is the spy" "At least, you are getting used to things" he answered and I huffed, falling back on the sofa. "You have some core functions you can't outrun. I have promised to handle the non-core functions" "I didn't know being a pawn was this demanding" He chuckled.

While its length-over 60 chapters-might daunt some readers, its heart lies in its earnest attempt to blend the intimate with the epic, making it a standout, if imperfect, addition to contemporary fiction. The story follows Jake as he navigates a multifaceted life, from flying Phantom jets over Vietnam to crafting songs that resonate across generations, to founding ZOX, a revolutionary eco-development company with his partner Margaret.
