I wrote this story to be an easy short read. I wrote this when I was seventeen which was the period between late 2015 and early 2017. The story is about a pony named Curly Fries and his friendship with Derpy Hooves. I wasn't sure what age to rate this story because it reads like a book young middlers book but covers heavy topics like suicide, depression, and anxiety.

What you are about to read is a love story. Let me prepare you in advance, this story will not end the way that you expect. When we met, I was young and had never experienced real love. He was older and charismatic, I never stood a chance. He was sweet and funny, everyone loved and respected him. On the surface he was everything I could ever want and for a while, everything was like a dream. But like all dreams, it came to an end. Somewhere along the line something changed, something that to this day I still can't pinpoint. The names in this story don't matter, because this story could happen to anyone. It's messy and complicated, a whirlwind of beauty and pain that created something that had never existed, something that never will again. It's been many years, but it's time for this story, my story, to be heard.

My name is Malia Thomas and this is my story , the story of a girl who learnt to stand up for what she believed in.My favourite things to do used to basically consist of reading romantic books and watching sappy romantic comedies that make me want to cry because i knew i'd never experience that kind of love. I say used to because i'm not that little girl who'd sit in the corner and feel sorry for herself anymore. The death of my twin brother Marcus has shown me just how short life can be ,one minute you're here and the next you're not . I still remember the last words my brother spoke to me before i heard a loud bang on the other end of the call, he was pretty drunk so i assumed it was all just word vomit ,he had said to me that i needed to be strong, that i needed to stand up for myself ,that i needed to show those who are willing to get to know me what a remarkable person i was,he told me that he loved me and he needed me to stop living in the shadows of others because if i didn't i'd never bloom to my full potential . This is me making a change,trying to conquer my last year of high school,trying to make my brother proud.

This story is told within the Dear Evan Hansen universe and is told from Connor's perspective. This is a story about his struggle with depression, anxiety, and self harm. If any or all of these things trigger you, please reconsider reading. None of the artwork is mine, only the story.

In a school where it is basically illegal to mix/change ranks and a town where gangs run whild, two people are about to change everything. what happens when the loner dancer and the bad boy gang leader meet? what happens when they fall into a never-ending hole of problems? but most of all what happens when they realize that out of everyone in the town, they are the only ones who understand each other? well you know what they say, a dancer only shows emotion in what she does.

What it's really like to be a teenage girl

Ariana always found comfort in sunsets, even when all she could see during the accident that snatched all happiness from her life was the hues of the setting sun. Take a walk with me, not literally of course but a walk in my shoes through a lifetime filled with confusion, fear, hurt, and finally acceptance. It's not easy being different especially when you've spent nearly an entire lifetime alive being told you're wrong but we do it. Now, then and in the days to come. Maybe, hopefully, this walk will help you understand, and open your eyes to the plight many children living in the shadows must endure daily.
