Sometimes, you don't fall in love when you're ready. You fall in love when you least expect it.
Sixteen-year-old Mark has never really worried about being single. He has never been in a relationship, but it has never bothered him either. He gets along just easily with girls he does with boys, and until now, he has never had a reason to question who he is attracted to.
That changes when new student joins his class.
Seventeen years old Leo quickly becomes one of Mark's closest friends. At first, their friendship feels completely normal-just two boys getting to know each other and spending more and more time together. But little by little, Mark begins to notice something strange.
The girls he used to think were attractive suddenly don't catch his attention anymore. His toughts keep drifting back to Leo. He starts acting differently, becoming distracted and confused, and as the week pass, even his grades begin to suffer.
Mark doesn't understand what is happening to him he tries to ignore his feelings, convice himself that it's only friendship, and find any explanation other than the one he doesn't want to face.
But half a year later, after countless moments of cinfusion, denial, and self-reflection, Mark finally begins to accept the truth.
He's gay.
And prehaps even more frightening than accepting that is realizing that he's falling for his best friend.
Now Mark has to figure out what it means to accept himself, what to do with feelings he can't hide anymore, and whether the boy who changed everything might feel the same way
(This probaly won't be the fastest-written story, since it's my first book, but I hope you'll enjoy reading it and following Mark and Leo's friendship as Mark slowly discovers who he truly is💙)
