Given that Zanli had given up writing the story due to burnout, I figured that I would pick up where he left off. Disclaimer: RWBY is owned by Hitotsubashi Group. Limbus Company and its prequels are owned by Project Moon. Second Disclaimer: The chapters prior to Zanli's announcement of discontinuing the original story will be carried over to this one, the exceptions being said announcement and the subsequent request for someone to continue it. A bittersweet consequence results from a simple wish gone awry, though a father's love always remains, even in another universe.

When the two meet in an unexpected way the hope of a friend drew them in but the two would be thrown for a loop when what they thought was a love that friends shared turned into something a litte more.... romantic. With careers on the line and a depleting mental health, will the two boys get the love they've craved from that special someone for so long or will one of them be taking that longing to the grave?
