This poetry comes from the bottom of my heart. I really hope it helps someone going through bad times. Yes these poems may be dark but some times you need dark to see the light.

A daily dose of my poem works. They're all an account of life through my amateurish eyes - some may be dark and unpleasant at sight, while others may be joyous and delightful. To me, life is like cake - the cream and delicacies on top may give you the illusion that it's wonderful and extravagant, but you will only know the reality of the depths of it as you slowly cut into the layers of gateaux, and savor it bite by bite. The bittersweet that comes along after you sink your teeth into the saccharine substance one last time only echoes this. Life's a party, so don't miss out. Drink and get high while you still can.
