A small collection of poems about the past, present, and future of life

Countless days and sleepless nights can't sleep, can't dream, can't rest, nothing left but to write.

"Siren Symphonia": This part of the title blends Latin and Greek, with "Siren" referring to the mythical creatures and "Symphonia" meaning "harmony" or "agreement" in Greek. Together, it suggests the enchanting songs of the sirens. "Aeternae Marins": This part incorporates Latin and French. "Aeternae" means "eternal" in Latin, and "Marins" is the French word for "sailors." Combined, it implies the enduring connection between the sirens' songs and the sailors they ensnare and feast on for eternity. -------------------- In a realm where the ocean's depths hold both beauty and peril, a timeless struggle unfolds between two ancient beings: the sirens and the mermaids. The sirens, with their mesmerizing beauty and honeyed voices, lure unsuspecting sailors to their doom, their songs echoing across the waves like a siren's call. But beneath the surface, they are creatures of darkness, their true forms hidden beneath a facade of allure. Contrastingly, the mermaids are known for their ugliness above the water, their raspy voices a stark contrast to the sirens' enchanting melodies. Yet, beneath the waves, they transform into beings of unparalleled beauty, their voices as sweet as sugar and their grace unmatched. For centuries, the sirens and the mermaids have clashed in a never-ending cycle, their battles fueled by their conflicting desires for the mortals who roam the ocean. The sirens seek to ensnare and destroy, while the mermaids strive to save and protect. And so the cycle continues, until one fateful day, when a chance encounter between a siren and a mermaid sets into motion events that will change the course of their eternal struggle forever. As the ocean churns with anticipation, the fate of sailors and creatures alike hangs in the balance, waiting to be decided by the outcome of this timeless conflict.

The story starts off with an amnesiac main character who gradually learns of the world within and without. Similarly, this relates to ourselves when we start on our journey of rediscovering ourselves. Read, absorb, relate, question and grow with the main character that encounters the many beliefs and quirks of others and within oneself.

Jason is the guy who always puts others first. He smiles even when his heart's heavy, laughs when it feels like a chore, and does everything to make the people around him happy. But inside, it's a different story. Living in a world where fitting in seems like the only option, Jason can't help but feel like he's losing himself. The pressure to be what everyone expects of him is suffocating, and it's starting to take a toll. How do you keep everyone happy when you're slowly falling apart? Stuck between what he's supposed to be and who he really wants to be, Jason starts to question everything. Is it possible to live for yourself when everyone else is counting on you? Or will he forever be trapped in a life he never chose? The hardest part of growing up isn't figuring out your future-it's learning to be happy with who you are.

She was extremely beautiful. She looked no older than him and was dressed in a white kimono. From her formal posture she must have been a head shorter than him. Her hair was straight at shoulder length. It was so pure white it was as if her head was covered in snow. Her bangs almost covering her eyes. Her eyes were round and full of wonder. Her irises coloured a light shade of gray. What he had also noticed was the handles of two weapons on her back. From what he could see they were most likely swords. Even those handles were completely white. "Who... Are you?" He asked after a few moments of complete silence. "I have no name of my own but as an ethereal being I represent an abstract concept. The concept of Suicide. Pleased to meet you, Sajin Hisato." She said in a monotone voice but was smiling nonetheless.
