Moon Ahreum is an orphan child. Her real mother, Moon Yeorum couldn't take care of her when the husband past away from an unknown reason. One night her mother decided to leave her for a better life, a life she will regret later on. She left her on the cold stairs to an orphan house. She didn't'even take a second glance to say goodbye to her own daughter, before leaving her with no trace behind. Except for a necklace, where she placed it around her daughter's neck. When Cho Ayeon grew up still in her early 20's, she got told by the doctor that she was diagnosed with the syndrome known as Amnesia. The syndrome made her lost her ability to remember her past and her existence. This was a secret only herself and the doctor know about, but secrets can grow. At the same time the doctor told her that, if she keeps forcing herself to remember the past. She will in the end forget everything, even the closest person.
