My "Carpe Diem" poem (seize the moment). I wrote this for my English class as a project and it got chosen to be read at our (seniors and class of 2023) graduation. Hope you enjoy, poems aren't my forte but some people seemed to have liked it.

Live in the moment. For only, it is now.

So its a book for those people who overthing a lot and make themself happy or sad in it ! So if you also an Overthinker read this I bet you will feel better after reading those poems which is made by me! And feel yourself in that poem. The Book of Overthinker is a poetic odyssey into the mind that never stops wandering. A book full of eye opening poetry. The Bundle Of Enlightenment is a journey through the wonders of life. For those who pay attention to the deeper meaning this book is a guide and teacher. (There are more parts to come)

She's gone her whole life playing safe. He's the antonym of safe. So when he meet the unlit candle named Alyssa Sanders he makes it his goal as a senior to be the kindle to her fire. After multiple arguments she accepts his dangerous presence. Who says the bad boy is always the one to change in a love story? *** This story will contain strong language however the entire story isn't dialogue of cusses. There will also be sexual scene which I will notify readers of at the beginning and end of those portion.

Nothing

Maybe it would have been better to take a cab... A few minutes late for work, no big deal, you just wanted some Starbucks. Late for a bus, and you're running down the street with everything piled in your hands and nothing but your socks to cover your feet. Although, look at lucky you, having the nice guy (nice-looking guy for that matter) share his umbrella with you when you do manage to arrive for the bus that just so happened to be running late. That rarely happens in real life. Ah, but of course, there is a catch. You can either share the umbrella with the cute guy or save your dignity and go take another mode of transportation. Your choice, he was the guy who ruined your Prom and then nearly took you out on the way to grab your Diploma. Accidents happen, face grows back after you've peeled it off in embarrassment, but how could you ever believe that this sort of coincidence would happen? You don't. So Lucía, do you wanna stay, or run off for the hills like they'll cover your shame? -- Lucía and Theo. Two ordinary people with an unordinary past. Hardly knew each other and yet they've never been able to recover from the amount of embarrassment they've felt whenever they met face-to-face. What will happen if Lucía decides to stay? I can't tell you that. It would ruin the point of having a summary, or a story, if the reader knew everything that went on. Will there be tears? I don't know. Could someone die? Very possible, although very NOT possible at the same time. Will there be laughter? Maya lived in a small house near the sea. Every day, she watched the sun come up and go down. She loved the ocean, but it also scared her. The waves were pretty, but they always took things away. When Maya was a little girl, she lost her favorite wooden boat to the water. Later, her best friend moved to another city. Then, her old dog died. "Everything I love always leaves," Maya thought. She began to live a "small" life. She stopped having big dreams. She stopped making plans. She thought that if she didn't care too much, it wouldn't hurt when things went away. One evening, she sat on a bench by the water. A young boy was crying because his ice cream fell on the ground. "Don't worry," Maya said quietly. "It's just ice cream. It was going to melt anyway." The boy looked at her with big, sad eyes. "But it tasted so good for a moment," he said. "I'm glad I had it." Maya went home and sat in the dark. She realized she was so scared of things ending that she forgot to enjoy them while they were happening. She was so worried about the "end" that she was missing her life. The next morning, Maya didn't hide. She walked to the beach and picked up a beautiful blue shell. She knew that one day the shell might break or the waves might take it back. But for today, it was hers. She started living her life in big, bold ways again. She learned that even though saying goodbye is hard, the happy times before the goodbye are what make life good.

Dillon Andrews, 17 year old girl. Blue ombre hair waist length, hazel eyes. She Loves soccer, but Can't play, she Hangs Out with boys,Lives with her Dad and Brother,The TomBoy. But She's just Dillon. Peirce King, 18 year old boy. Brown Curly hair always gelled back, Grey eyes. He is Talented at soccer, only interacts with Nico & Caleb, Lives With Nico and a dog, The Bad Boy. And He's just Peirce. Dillon is Oblivious to anyone other than her friends, she has never heard of Peirce or Nico Or Caleb before. But when the 4 meet, well let's just say it's very Interesting. Dillon Finds out Peirce's secret, And The Two People Close to her heart happen to be one. He calls her 'Blue' She calls him 'Jerk "when i'm older, and my little girl asks me who my first love was, i don't want to pull out a Year Book or a Photo Album! i want to point across the room and say 'she's right there'!!" he shouted, clothes soaked standing on the front porch. Water dripped down from his hair as it clung to his head, the rain washing out the gel. tears formed in my eyes. "don't cry... Please say something" he said. i pulled open the screen door and ran into his arms devouring him in a kiss full of passion and desperation, this argument went on for too long. This is a book of all of my poetry. It is happy and sad, inspirational or boring, it is my life.
