Thor's coronation is fast approaching, and Loki has a secret that he can only tell the person he trusts most. Set right before the first Thor. Title and story inspired by the song "Flawed Design" by Stabilo.

Sigyn Hämndottir was the best friend of Loki Laufeyson but when they started to live in different realms: The Realm Eternal and The Realm of the Mortals, did they really draw apart? Loki Laufeyson changed much since these days with hatred and anger because Midgard has stolen what belongs to him and since that day Sigyn has nothing left but her memories. When fate brings them together will they be able to keep the trouble away or are the friends trouble itself?

This story takes place after the What!if episode "What if Thor was an only child". Sigyn's mother wants her to marry Thor, but she doesn't like him that way. And then, one night, she meets someone very special in the Queen's gardens... (Basically, this is me having fun with the What if episode AND rewritten THAT horrible storyline from the comics. YOU KNOW THE ONE. )

Sigyn has loved Prince Loki all her life, but from afar, as she was too shy to ever talk to him. However, when she finds out he is in Hel, bound to a rock, while a snake pours its venom into his eyes, she begs Hela to let her join him, so she can ease his torments a little...

Sigyn met Loki when he was not quite grown, he a prince, she a young queen, peers across cultures. Her bold approach to everything from the All-Father to life itself attracted his attention. Her devotion to her people is a reflection of her devotion to all things that matter to her heart- eventually, to him, too. But he will break it, and she will watch him die.

The smell of fresh wine and mead floats through every street as the morning palace glimmers in the reflection of the sun. Asgard is home to many people. There are the Asgardian folk (swordsmiths, bakers, carpenters, etc), there is Heimdall; the watchman of the Gods, and of course the Gods themselves; Odin the AllFather, Thor the god of thunder and Loki the god of mischief. They were mighty of course but this story isn't about them. No, it's about a young Asgardian girl with a normal life...or so she thought. HI GUYS! SigynFan here and this is my first fanfiction *cue confetti*. So this is about Sigyn Iwaldisdottir and her life on Asgard. I've always loved Sigyn and thought that she was such an underrated character in the marvel comics and Norse mythology... so I decided to write this. All rights to most of the characters go to MarvelStudios and the cover art is mine but the picture of Sigyn is based of a drawing by nanihoo(Check her out on pinterest she is AMAZING). Sigyn has lived all her life stuck inside her rooms, never meeting anyone, as her mother felt she was not worthy of the Freyadottir name. One day, she decides she had enough, and goes to Midgard to have one night out, enjoying the festivities... but changes her appearance, so no one would know it was her. Amora has always been so free, and beautiful, and everything Sigyn was not. So, for the night, Sigyn decides she will be her... What could go wrong? (Spoiler alert: a lot)

*ON HIATUS* Sigyn, the Goddess of Fidelity and Victory, the second wife of Loki, was sadly never a part of the MCU, but what if she was? This story is how I think Sigyn can play a part in the movies. Note:I have a lot of head canons about Sigyn's background so this is not based off the comics nor the mythology. Nothing here belongs to me, it all belongs to Marvel.

As life is turned on its head she will find her duties expand far past what she thought. After the events of Thor, Sigyn mourns the death of her husband.

Miss Sigyn Iwaldidottir has been in love with Lord Loki Odinson, but as she comes from a merchant's family, she has no hope of ever marrying him, though their mothers were friends. However, when it turns out that Loki is not his father's son, but an illegitimate child, society turns against him - except Sigyn, who still loves him.

Princess Sigyn has heard a thousand times the tale of the God of Yggdrasil, and loves this story more than any other. She became obsessed with it, hoping that one day, she would get to meet the Deity inside the Tree...

Loki knows pain. He's dealt with much worse than Odin, that sentimental fool. He knows that whatever his punishment will be, he will bear it with ease. But, to Loki's growing horror, Odin can be very creative when it comes to discipline. But being stripped of most of his magic, forced under an obedience spell, reaved of his lies and sent to live with the Avengers is cruel, even for Odin. But Loki will survive. (It isn't like he has much choice, anyways.)
