Part One of A Prince's Promise Series Somewhere in one of the many alternate realities of the universe, there is a Loki whose life as an Asgardian prince is changed forever when he meets you. Now I don't know about you, my fellow readers, but seeing Y/N in the story is weird and detracts from the story to me. This story IS a LokixReader fanfiction but I have opted to write it in first person to help readers immerse themselves in the story a bit more naturally. This idea came to me before Endgame came out and stemmed from wanting Loki to be happy in at least ONE reality. This is just part one and it will be a super slow burn and when you begin to read it, you'll see why. Part One WILL NOT have any mature content this time around but future parts will. Takes place before and during the first part of Thor. What happens when you make a deal with the Trickster himself? Lily Glen, a young mortal girl, did just that when she was 16. For the past 6 years, she has worked for Loki, service demanded by her life pledge to him. Over the years, Lily, now named Feyre, learns the workings of his twisted mind, as well as how to tame them. When she is finally trained to be a Valkyrie and earns her wings, Loki disappears. She must find him and discover what he's up to. Along the way, she learns grows in her emotions and abilities. She thinks that maybe...just once...she can live happily ever after. Before Hela, that is. Read on to get in the whole story, as well as my personal ideas and inspiration for this short book. Astrid Thornhill, niece to the well known Clint Barton, and not so amazing agent of SHIELD, was assigned to keep watch on the Tesseract. Of course, because Astrid was there (obvious reason), everything had to go horribly wrong. A brainwashed uncle, war in the air, AND the most dangerous thing on Earth stolen wasn't s good combination for the young agent. Add breaking a shoulder blade, and getting kidnapped on top of that, and you can see how wonderful Astrid's situation was. The young woman gets to know SHIELDs number one enemy a lot more than she would have liked (she likes it eventually). Yes, Loki was charming, and there was just something about him that Astrid just can't resist, but he was also the antagonist of this story. Well, if she let herself fall for him, that'd make her public enemy number two...

In a last ditch effort to rehabilitate Loki, he is magically bonded to a telepathic human, in the hopes that being forced to feel her emotions, will make him face the horror of his actions. Sent back to Earth with Thor as his bodyguard, things become complicated, when the Hulk attacks Stark. Having gone to NY to help, Thor then disappears. Will Loki help the Avengers find his brother, or will he leave Thor to his fate?

y/n and Loki have been best friends since forever. Even though she did hangout with Thor she preferred hanging out with Loki. But when Thor gets banished to Earth and the king falls ill, Loki becomes king, getting the power he has always wanted.
