Takes place before and during the first part of Thor. What happens when you make a deal with the Trickster himself? Lily Glen, a young mortal girl, did just that when she was 16. For the past 6 years, she has worked for Loki, service demanded by her life pledge to him. Over the years, Lily, now named Feyre, learns the workings of his twisted mind, as well as how to tame them. When she is finally trained to be a Valkyrie and earns her wings, Loki disappears. She must find him and discover what he's up to. Along the way, she learns grows in her emotions and abilities. She thinks that maybe...just once...she can live happily ever after. Before Hela, that is. Read on to get in the whole story, as well as my personal ideas and inspiration for this short book.
