After the clan is forgotten by the Secret Wars (2015), the boy is left on his own as a Drifter. Never stays in one spot for too long. He makes a name for himself on Staten Island. June Moonstar was born of a perfectly fine pack called the Last Quarter Moon pack, nothing really special about them, they didn't verge from any normal stereotypes. Which was the problem, why should women have to slave around for the men doing all the cooking and cleaning, while the men just sat around pretending they were defending the pack when most of their time was spent taking nice strolls around in the wood. No, she would have nothing to do with such a sexist way of life.
