All their lives, the tainted threat loomed. While Rossi and her village faced attacks--a single tainted's destruction, before they could burn them--Bianca lived among the tainted and every day faced the Shadow in her own body. They feel compelled to risk the unthinkable, go Downtown to find the crack between universes. Their journey won't actually take them far from home, but that's the problem. Everyone close to their hearts is threatened. This is a story of challenges: the challenge of survival in a post-apocalyptic world. But also, the challenge of working with people under stress, often through pain, some you don't like, some close friends you take for granted, some new friends with a totally different worldview. There are multiple seasons before the primary goal is resolved. Regularly scheduled programming every 2nd and 4th Wed. Wherever you see Rossi's journal is a "bookmark" to help you when you need to step away, giving you an eye-catching way to pick up where you left off. Every episode is a 20-30 min read (4000-6000 words), but bookmarks / scene breaks are around 1400 words. All seasons are written, but I'm still editing!
