When I was a lighthearted, curious little girl, I would see the majestic hero of our town, saving the lives of the people who I saw every day and knew from the connections of my parents. This hero's name was Freefall. Every time he flew in my line of sight, I was possessed to stop and stare and admire everything he was and everything I imagined him to be. I was so fascinated by Freefall and the abilities he had; The heat vision, the super-strength, the flight. It was like magic to me. It was comparable to someone experiencing love at first sight, a child receiving a teddy bear for the first time, a first roller coaster ride. I was as curious as a cat, so intrigued by my idol, and as a result, I followed him into action. How would you feel if you finally met the person you've hurt after many years?

A hand reached out towards me and a warm smile asked me, "Care for a dance, my lady?" I blushed as I took his hand, nodding, "I would love to." However, it was only after we were on the dance floor did I remember that I hadn't even practiced it at least once. Before anxiety could grip me again, a hand pulled me by my waist, one of my hands in his and the other on his shoulder. He leaned in towards as he whispered, "Just follow my lead." He took a step to right, and so did I. When he came back to the original position, I came back too. Then he moved left, backward and twirled me around after a few repetitions, and I laughed at how many times I stepped on him, apologizing every time. We shared a few more steps, till the song ended, laughing along at nothing, swaying away to the beautiful music as if the night was ours, and just ours. -x-x-x- Aishani works at a café and lives a stable, comfortable life, though she is alone with just her cat for company.
